John is a graduate of Texas A&M University and was an active member of the Corps of Cadets. He is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma, as well as a Certified Federal Surveyor.

Before joining the Onward team, he was a project manager at C.H. Fenstermaker & Associates.
